Our Vision
For years we have enjoyed bringing our children to the farm to pick berries and enjoy the ambiance that encompasses the farm. It is our intention to continue that tradition and welcome everyone to enjoy the family friendly feel going forward. The last several years have been extremely challenging to the farm with excessive heat some years and flooding others.
For the 2017 season we will be having our first pick-your-own fall raspberries, and will be opening further into the season with selling pumpkins and squash. With our newly expanded black raspberries, we will be able to sell more of them at the farm stand while still having an abundance of picking for the people who love to pick them, too! Our blackberries have been doing well, and will be more abundant this fall. The thornless variety is maturing nicely. We are also adding new July red raspberries this season, so there will be more available for picking in the 2018/2019 season.
Our farm stand will be having more variety of baked goods this season. We will be adding blueberry muffins and more pies! In 2016 we introduced blackberry and pumpkin creemees, and we will be bringing them back in the fall of 2017.
It is our hope that the Charlotte Berry Farm becomes a destination for those who want to pick their own fruit and for businesses in Vermont and elsewhere to count on the Charlotte Berry Farm to supply wholesome strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, pumpkins and other fruits throughout the year either fresh or frozen.
